The story is about a Notebook, owned by a Death God, fell onto earth call DeathNote... Whom ever's name is written in this Notebook, is bound to die in 40s, of heart failure...
This book was picked up by a genuis teenager, call "Light", he vowed to change the corrupted and crime filled world with this powerful book... with his new name "KIRA"
The Police, have a secret weapon, a genius crime fighter call "L", also vowed to catch KIRA, and sentence him to death...
This story's most interesting part is how both genuis counter eachother with their plots... watch them in the movie NOW~! or buy their comic...

hey the plot is nice , but once u see the comics quite sian cuz too wordy and the whole thing is too draggy
DeathNote has the most sophisticated plots i've ever seen in comics. 1 book can read up to 2-3hrs... gd...and bad...
The movie, i personally is a big fan of DeathNote and L, when i first heard it will have a movie, i was very excited~ Watching the movie, yes a bit draggy, cause 1st episode ma, got to explain alot of details, i believe the subsequent ones will be much better~ Jus to add, personally think the cast for Light ia sucky, cast for L is fantastic. KAKAKAKA~!

i tink i prefer the acting of the kira kun aka yagami light~ for the time being. kekez. kira more exposure in the movie. hopefully upcoming it will be better. OH MISA CHAN! hahaha~ and oh, the drawing so striking resemblance~ impressed yet again~
